Those whacky Taiwanese chaps over at Next Media Animation – you know, the ones that do those frankly bizarre news reports in CGI – have turned their attention to the thorny matter of Scotland’s independence debate.

Now, we promise this’ll be the last time the whole referendum row gets mentioned on the Thumbcast before it actually happens , and we wouldn’t normally cover real-world news or politics on this site.

But how could we turn down a news report that features Susan Boyle headbutting a telly and Groundskeeper Willie piloting a Starship Enterprise made out of Irn Bru cans?  No, really…
